BIOGRAPHY

DÉLUGE

Thunder rumbles from afar as the rain falls incessantly, needlelike, merciless. A wild storm suddenly breaks out and fades out to quietness, nothingness. DÉLUGE The band delivers a razor sharp blend of Black Metal and Post-Hardcore for an incredibly modern, visceral and atmospheric result. The crushing sound of Æther, resulting from the work of Christophe Edrich (The Ocean, Hacride, Klone, …) and Joey Sturgis (Oceano, The Acacia Strain, Born of Osiris,…), will assuredly leave a mark on the swarming Black Metal scene. DÉLUGE can already be counted as one of the future spearheaders of the Black Metal / Post-Hardcore scene. Æther is a combination of thundering drums and scathing riffs wrapped in a stifling frozen atmosphere.

LINE-UP : Maxime Febvet (vocals) | Richard de Mello (Guitar) | François-Thibaut Hordé (Guitar) | Frédéric Franczak (Bass) | Benjami Marchal (Drums)
ARTWORK : Valnoir (Metastazis)

Words from the label manager, Gérald Milani :
DELUGE is clearly a particular band, aside from the common idea of Black Metal. Is it something that stops us ? If you follow us, I might have notice that we are also a particular band. We love going off tracks because, for us, art has no limit. Then, we may bother the purists, that’s for sure, but our approach goes beyond every consideration. We support band that hits us, in which we found ourself, regardless their tags.
DELUGE is a diehard band, in their music, their attitude, their artistic approach : nothing is leave to chance. We have created a created a trust-based relationship, we will assist them as long as we can.
Between their self-produced Ep and our first collaboration, the progression was huge. DELUGE is only at the beginning of its journey, in our opinion, the band will continue to turn to BM code upside down. Their blasts, atmospheres, melodies will poison the scene over and over again. To be continued.
